If you specify, manage or hand over property for a living, your reputation is attached to whoever paints it. These are the relationships we are set up for, and what each of them means in practice.
Who we work with
Four kinds of working relationship.
Architects and interior designers
We work to your specification and colour scheme, produce sample panels for approval, and report to you rather than around you. Where we think a specification will not perform on a particular substrate, we will say so before starting rather than after.
Builders and contractors
Painting and finishing as a subcontract package, sequenced with your other trades. We will tell you honestly when plaster is not ready to take a coating, which is usually the point of friction on a build programme.
Facility and property managers
Planned and reactive work across a portfolio, phased around occupancy, with written scopes and documented handover per area.
Property agents and landlords
Turnaround painting between tenancies to a fixed handover date, with the work documented for deposit and condition purposes.
How it works
What we agree upfront.
- Scope, specification and who signs off each stage.
- Who your point of contact is, and who ours is.
- How variations are raised, priced and approved in writing.
- Site access, working hours and protection responsibilities.
- Handover, snagging and what the warranty conditions cover.
What we do not offer
- A franchise. We do not sell territories or operating rights.
- Guaranteed volume of work, income or an exclusive area.
- Commission arrangements that the end customer is not told about.
If a referral arrangement ever involves a payment, the customer will be told. We are not going to build a relationship on something their surveyor would find uncomfortable.
