Painting, protection and repair

Everything your walls, ceilings, exteriors, wood and metal surfaces need.

Eight categories, grouped the way customers actually describe a problem, not the way a contractor lists services. If you are not sure which one you need, start with the symptoms below.

What services does PremiumWalls offer?

We paint and protect surfaces across Bengaluru: interior and exterior painting for homes, commercial painting for offices, shops and institutions, decorative wall finishes, waterproofing and damp treatment, wall repair and surface preparation, wood and metal finishing, and specialised coatings like epoxy floors. Every project starts with a free inspection.

Plain language

Painting, repainting, repair, waterproofing and coating are not the same thing.

These five words get used interchangeably, and that is where most mismatched quotations come from.

Painting
Applying a decorative and protective coat to a surface that is already sound, or has been made sound first.
Repainting
Painting over an existing finish. What it costs depends almost entirely on the condition of the coat underneath.
Repair and preparation
Making the surface stable and level: cracks, plaster, putty, sanding. This is what decides how long the finish lasts.
Waterproofing
Stopping water getting to the structure. It is a different job from painting, and where there is damp it has to happen first.
Protective coating
A system chosen for how it performs rather than how it looks: floors, roofs, metalwork and exposed exteriors.

Who we work for

Homes and businesses, run as separate processes.

The painting itself is much the same. The planning, the protection and the handover are not, so we do not run them the same way.

Homes

Planned around your household. We work room by room so the rest of the house stays usable, cover and mask before we start, and clear up at the end of every day. Colours go up as samples on your own wall before anything is committed.

Residential painting

Businesses and institutions

Planned around your operation. Site survey first, then phased area by area, working outside trading hours when that is what it takes, with access and protection agreed in writing and one supervisor running the site.

Commercial painting

Running an apartment association or a construction project has its own process again, closer to commercial work but with its own approvals and scale. For apartment associations · For builders and developers

Heavier industrial coating work, like sandblasting and powder coating, is set out on its own pages, with what we carry out ourselves and what needs a specialist settled at the survey and named in the quotation. We would rather be plain about that than take on work we cannot supervise to the same standard.

Choosing the right service.

I do not know which service I need. What should I do?

Book the free inspection and describe the symptom, not the service. We look at the surfaces and tell you what they actually need, which is sometimes less than people expect and occasionally more. You get the written scope before you decide anything.

Do you handle both homes and commercial properties?

Yes, but we run them differently. Residential work is planned around a household and usually goes room by room. Commercial work is phased around trading hours, with a written scope, agreed access and an area-by-area handover. The two are separate because the constraints are.

Can one project include several of these services?

Most do. A normal repaint involves crack repair and levelling, and a damp wall needs waterproofing before either of those. We separate them here so you can see what each one involves and what it adds to the cost, not because you book them separately.

Is there a minimum size of job?

We are set up for whole-home, apartment, commercial and specialist projects, where supervision and preparation make the difference. For a single room, an independent painter is usually the better fit. Tell us what is involved and we will say honestly whether we are the right people for it.

Do you do industrial coating work?

Some of it. Epoxy and industrial floor systems and spray application are all live. For heavier protective coating, like sandblasting and powder coating, we have pages that explain how the work is specified, and the quotation names which stages we carry out ourselves and which need a specialist. We would rather be upfront about that than take on something we cannot supervise properly.

Still not sure? That is what the inspection is for.

Describe what you are seeing and we will work out what the surfaces actually need. You get a written, itemised quotation afterwards, with no obligation to go ahead.

  1. We call you back the same day to get a picture of the property and the surfaces.
  2. We agree a time and come out for the free inspection.
  3. You get the written scope and itemised quotation.
  4. Nothing starts until you approve it.
